Nice and flexible from day one. It has a great grip, even with my arthritic hands and in the rain. Love it. (Posted on 4/26/12)Rating - 6 ft leash Review by Joanne

2nd one I've ordered as I loved the first one so much. They are fantastic and I can grip them so much better than a nylon or even leather leash. I'm a dog walker and I'm sure my clients are going to want to order some as well.Rating
There is only one thing I can think of that would make it even better, for me at least, would be if there was a metal ring on the handle. I like to wear the leash from my shoulder across my body when I have a dog off leash on the trails, just keeps my hands free. Having a ring on the handle would allow you to hook the clasp so you could make the leash into a loop.
Great product Leslie! (Posted on 2/26/12) - Best leash Review by abbeysDad

Buy puppy. Panic! Run to local pet store and buy one of everything, including the flimsy leash. Burn hands for six weeks while Golden Retriever learns not to pull. Right. Search google and find these wonderful leashes. It really is great. No slip, nice and sturdy with grippers all the way down. This leash means business so Abbey does not even bite it! I imagine we will use this for her whole life so it is a very low price to pay. Thanks! We have passed your name to our puppy kindergarten class. I'm extremely pleased with the quality and feel of this leash. My Shepherd mix (65 lbs.) is a puller, and this leash has texture to keep it from slipping. The handle is thick and padded...easy on your hand. .........Rating
I believe a very large dog (say over 100 lbs.) might benefit from a 1" wide leash...not sure if they are being made that wide. .......
The biggest surprise to me, was how light the leash is compared to the clunkers from the pet store. It's designed to be strong, and not fatigue your arm with too much weight.
A+++++ you won't be disappointed! (Posted on 2/21/12) - Great leash for a strong dog! Review by sj

We have a 60 lb pit mix and he occasionally lunges at squirrels while we're walking. This leash allows me to easily keep a solid grip on him. It's well made and very sturdy. The lead has a texture on it, which would be very helpful for catching him if the loop were to slip out of my grasp. (Posted on 2/15/12)Rating - Fantastic Review by Joanne

I'm a dog walker, Yourdogscoach.com, and using a good leash is really important to me. I saw some information about RuffGrip leashes on Linked in and thought I'd give one a try. I love it because the leash doesn't slip through my hands even when I'm wearing gloves, and it's provided me with a lot more control. I love all the dogs I walk, but not all of them are good walkers and I have some large dogs that will try to pull and set the direction for our walks. This leash has really made a difference to me and I'll be ordering another one right away so I'll have a couple on hand as I now use it for all my walks. This is my 2nd RuffGrip leash. I started with a medium leash and a rescue dog who grew another 15 pounds and twice the muscle power. After 3 years, it had taken a beating most normal leashes would not have withstood. He finally pulled the swivel hook apart one day when he saw a squirrel in the park. I just upgraded to the large leash. I'm able to control a 60lb powerful mixed breed dog with one hand with the RuffGrip. The larger size has made my walks much easier. In spite of training, I'm convinced my dog will always have a hair trigger when he sees something he really wants to chase. The RuffGrip does NOT slip out of my hand when he tries to lunge or run. This leash reliably keeps me the pack leader. (Posted on 2/2/12)Rating
