In the 10 years that I have been training dogs professionally, I have never seen a single product or tool that can have such an immediate impact. This leash affords such superior grip and control, that leash management is no longer an issue and the handler can focus on the dog, instead of worrying about the leash. Every time one of my students borrows my leash, they want to know where they can get one! I teach classes for kids, ages 7 - 14, and their dogs, every summer and I am going to make this leash a requirement! Thank you for creating such a superior line of products. -- Donna, Sterling Heights, MI, Certified Training Instructor, APDT Member
I forget when I purchased my Ruffgrip. But I love it. It is comfortable in my hands which are a little arthritic. My dog is a rescued GSD who is fear reactive with other dogs. So I do need to have a good hold on the leash. Ruffgrip does not slide out of my hand nor cut into my hand as so many other leashed do. I love this leash so much I bought one for a friend for when she gets her new dog. Thank You for such a great product. -- Lorraine
I really like the product! Very nice for my Ridgeback pup, who is still learning proper leash etiquette but is big enough now to seriously pull when she wants to (at only 4 months - imagine that a couple months down the road). A lifesaver these leashes! My hands were getting raw with the nylon one we were using. Thanks again for such great customer service! -- Pat - Syracuse, NY
Thank you for the leashes! They are fantastic. Love the grip on them, they are so sturdy but very light! Regards, Mary Farren - MA, www.adroitcaninetrainer.com • GSRNE Working Dog Program • GSRNE Training Director
This leash is great for my business! It easily transitions by being strong enough for a large breed dog but also lightweight for a small breed. -- Tammy - Professional pet sitter / dog walker
Thank you for such a quality product. I received our 4' 3/4" leash today, and it is amazing! I have a 72 pound Shar-Pei / Doberman mix who has a pulling problem and who is also leash shy. With just one walk using our new RuffGrip Leash, we have made huge strides towards correcting both problems. I couldn't be happier! For the very first time I feel confident that he is truly secure and that I have control. I can tell that he understands there is a difference and that he is to respond to my actions (not the other way around.) What an improvement! -- Suzanne - Dallas, Texas
Hello, just to let you know this the second leash I've purchased from you ...They are the best...this particular one I'm giving to my sister for Christmas...I've had my leash (for my akita) for six years now ...It's not only a great dog leash, this year we used it to tie down the Christmas tree on top of car...Anyway quality product all the way and it is much appreciated -- Neil
Thank you, thank you, thank you for such an awesome leash. I received my order in time to use the leash at BARK Camp. I absolutely love the RuffGrip Slip Lead. Perfect for walking, agility and water use with my Golden. What I needed were some of your business cards as everyone at BARK Camp was like, “What kind of leash is that? Where did you get it?” I am returning to you today the European Leather Slip in exchange for a 4-foot RuffGrip Slip Lead. I do not believe I will ever own another type of leash! Put some business cards in with my 4-foot lead and I will pass them out at upcoming agility trials. -- Thanks again, Debby Cartney, Longmeadow, MA
Recently, during our annual training, I gave a class on specialty equipment for SAR dogs, to handlers in my group. My classes always include show and tell. Most of my handlers have been using either nylon or leather leashes. You already know the problems inherent in each. I pulled out my RuffGrip leashes, passed them around and of course started hearing the "Ooh's and Aah's". Mine are 5/8", which were immediately favored by the woman handlers and those with smaller hands. It's a good thing I own about half a dozen, because I ended up loaning several out, so folks could try them for themselves. It has taken a while, but I think I have most of them back now. I guess they all liked them, as there are now several, nice new leashes or tracking lines attached to peoples dogs at workouts. Everyone has excitedly told me how much they like them and were glad that they had the chance to take them for a test drive. -- Rachelle, Rachelle's Custom K-9, Canine Search and Rescue, Port Orchard, WA
Hi. I recently received 2 of your leashes. I love the concept of the rubberized webbing I have a more well behaved GSD but she has a long way to go with her obedience work. I love the notching on the leash I am over weight and have nuero muscular problems so its difficult for me to look to check my dog position the notches give me a better perspective. I think it’s a great product. You could consider marketing to a broader group I assist in teaching obedience and person with tactile difficulties may benefit by the texture of you leash. My real job is a nurse. People with problem of numbness and tingling and weak grip strength may benefit from your product, however they shouldn’t be walking mastiffs. You have a great product.
My shepherd had a hip replacement this summer and goes to Pet Pt in Cherry Hill, NJ. I showed the Vet there your product and told him it was perfect for his little old lady clients that come in with there dogs dragging them and have a chain wrapped around there hand. He really liked the design I will be giving him you card! -- Michele, Mays Landing NJ

This leash works wonderful! Love the little 6" stoppers! There is a little bit of give in the leash itself which we enjoy. And the lightness doesn't add extra weight to the collar. -- Alice & Sassie
Everyday when we go to the park for our walk/run. I think; I need to email the list again to report my experience with these incredible cool leashes! RuffGrip leashes. I could do a commercial ;-)) Before Ruff Grip leashes, I had to use pinch collars in case we saw a cat, squirrel or rabbit, etc.. But with the Ruff Grip leashes I have confidence and full control no matter what the situation. I know it makes no sense because the issue I thought was one of strength but I'm telling ya I have no problem holding or controlling two Bouv girls (especially my hefty gal Tallulah) with these magic leashes and just plain collars. Not to mention how prestigious I feel walking the girls with them or wearing them around my neck when they are off leash. This was one splurge that really paid off! Also I love the little stop tabs for when we have to cross cable fences at roads in the park with oncoming traffic. The girls go under and I step over the cable fences so I have to let go of the leashes and regrip on the other side. All I have to do is let the girls go under the cable then I reach across to hold the leash at a shorter stop tab on the other side and release my initial grip from the back side then I step over the cable. I always feel like I have as good a grip as I would have holding the end loop. It's really made a difference in my feeling of control and safety when crossing these roads. -- Cynthia, Tallulah and Audrey, Round Rock, TX
A while ago, I bought a Ruff Grip leash -- a 6 footer -- to have something lightweight to carry on woods walks and something to endure the rotten weather. I liked it so much, I got a tab leash which I use mostly in agility class as a safety grab. Very spiffy! -- Geoff, Brookline, MA
You wouldn't believe how I broke my leash that I got from you last year. I had it snapped onto my dog's crate at agility class today. I was moving my car out of the sun into the shade. As I was backing up, the end of the leash must have fallen on the ground. When I ran it over, it pulled on my crate so hard before it broke that it bent my crate outwards by 4". Darn strong leash. -- Margaret Farone, Fit To A Tee - Connecticut
Yours is a great leash! I'm so glad to have a leash that's easy to hang on to when untangling Chappy (my 18-mo old) when he's greeting other dogs--I don't have to worry about it sliding out of my hands while my hand's out of the loop. -- Deb, NJ
Hi - I am currently raising my 4th German Shepherd puppy for a local guide dog school. control of these pups from the tender age of 8 weeks til they leave me at about 16 months is of the utmost importance. The RuffGrip leash allows me all the control i need of my precious guide-dogs-to-be and makes training sessions and just taking walks more enjoyable. I am able to concentrate on what I am doing with all the control and flexibility I need while at the same time always making leash work enjoyable for my pups! I highly recommend it for any type of leash work whether pleasure or training or work related. Truly a valuable part of being partnered with a dog. Donna Hiorns, Git Ander ( 1 year old foster puppy) and Cole ( 6 yr old retired guide dog)
After returning to obedience training after a long absence I stumbled on a great product. I have always used a 6 foot leather leash to train my dogs, but I watched a classmate with a GSD using a very interesting leash and inquired about it. I purchased a RuffGrip dog leash and have been completely satisfied. Training a young and energetic Doberman puppy can take it's toll on you, but I found the leash gave me greater control with less effort needed for correction. The leash is extremely durable, comfortable and great looking. It provides some "give" which is easier on my arms and wrists. I now own 3 of these leashes and wouldn't be without one. I highly recommend them to my friends whether they are training a Whippet or a Dobie. -- Holle, Westfield, MA
